  2. Must say that the blogger inside you is getting enhanced day by day.....kudos to that.

Coming to your question...I also think the essence of karvachauth and for that point the other festivals as well have definitely lost their charm in recent times. But then its our culture which can't be taken away and will be continuing for sure.

I agree and would definitely want the festivals to continue to bring newness and excitement in our lives. Also, at least to some, it does make a difference..!!

  4. Despite all its pros and cons , festivals including karvachauth come as a fresh breath of air with lots of excitement and something to look forward to in our ever so mundane lifestyles.

Every blog of yours is written in a different style which keeps us interested. Keep writing !!

But i would say i dont keep the fast bcz it is ritual or i believe that it would increase my husba nd's age. But i do the same bcz i feel it is a way to shower my love on my husband, jist like valentines day.

  6. Great sharing must say.

But i don't believe in this ritual, its like if a wife charge his mobile phone(Keeping fast), how come his husband's phone gets charged(Husband get's long life)?? I don't find any logic behind this. Have faith in god, pray good for each other and RESPECT that's it what it requires to strengthen the relationship.

Can see an aspiring writer in you Aakansha :) Good Luck

  7. All of us are allowed to have our own view points so it is completely okay. You may a say which might not match with others.
I agree- we must do those things which keeps us happy and strengthens the bond- be it a ritual or not.

  8. All your posts are very much in sync with today's mindsets. All religions and traditions are more of a show off I agree. Keep writing, revealing and realizing :) most importantly! Keep shining :)

  9. Well written dear
Not only karvachauth ,all festivals have taken a commercial turn now a days and it's more a show-off kind of thing. No doubt they bring excitement and a nice change in our daily routine but the original culture is slowly disappearing and these festivals are just being followed as a fashion.
