Beautiful post, beautiful you. Way to go girl!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much:)
DeleteCouldn't agree more. Do it for yourself. For the world will always always be there to judge you. Whether or not you ask for their opinion :p well written and honest! Appreciate your bravery for sharing sensitive life events.
ReplyDeleteThank you for your kind words:)
DeleteAnd the blogger strikes again...Relatable Topic for me. A good read overall.
ReplyDeleteIt has been my mantra throughout the years, one should feel happy from inside.
Yes, so true:)
DeleteOne must be happy, everything else then eventually falls into place:)
Thats a lovely article..

DeleteBeautifully expressed Aakanksha... our body is the only home we have to live in, we must nature it, respect it,honour it and love it.
ReplyDeleteThanks a lot..!!
DeleteWell said- our body is our home:)
Its really appreciating the way you say things by sharing your own experiences too which makes the reader feels related...n yes, even the companies have tried to exploit thise body shaming concept to advertise their beauty products as well n it has worked.. although more in making ppl feel ashamed n depressed rather than profit.. try to share these kind of posts to a much larger audience so that it might save a few of the very percentage of ppl who r suffering from this..LOVE URSELF FOR WHAT U R...
ReplyDeleteI am so heartened to hear this from you.. thanks for being so inspiring:)
DeleteOhh how much I can relate to this..being on the darker side when I was a kid and from a Punjabi family where colour is the base standard to judge you irrespective of your intelligence and nature. People don't refrain from commenting on the kids too. But then there are people who appreciate you for who you are and those are the people we need to surround ourselves with. Lets celebrate how unique each individual is !!
ReplyDeleteWell said:)
